We were taught in school there is always an answer to a question, and when there is a problem, there should be a solution. After we stepped into the society to work, bosses expect impressive ideas. However, sometimes we forget, that there is a solution called 以不变应万变.
It is a very underrated solution, because even suggesting it makes one somewhat guilty, even if it might be the best solution ever! Imagine your boss asking you what is to be done to counter the competitor's aggressive sales promotion, and you said "Oh well, the best solution is to do nothing."
If a friend comes to you with a relationship problem asking you what should he/she do, and you simply say "Don't do anything. " Will your friend think that you are being insincere?
