We had been looking forward to "Sunrise at Angkor Wat" - one of the highlights on our itinerary.
We woke up at 4am to pack our luggage for check-out (because the guy we talked to at the hostel didn't agree to letting us check out past 12pm). Fine, we are very accommodating people. When we came down to the lobby to check out at 5am, there was no one at the front desk! The security guard had to call that guy to rush to the hostel so that we could check out. And guess what, the guy who finally reached the hotel asked why couldn't we check out at 1pm!!
When we found the front desk guy missing, we simultaneously found our tuk tuk driver missing in action too. We were supposed to meet at 5am at the hotel lobby. Rus called and called. Finally he woke up and rushed to the hostel. Due to these unforeseen circumstances totally not within our control, we missed the sunrise!
I don't know if we would feel better if we missed the sunrise because we woke up late or something. I thought for a moment and concluded that probably not, for now I can blame someone else. Hahahaahahaha.

Us being us, we don't sulk just like that.
It's all about having fun and that's it.
So the whole morning, we explored this temple...

We had KFC before we set off for Phnom Penh - the only fast food we had there. The potato wedges were super nice!!!
Finally reached Phnom Penh after the painful bus ride. Saw the legendary "Happy Pizza" place that sells pizza with Ecstasy. They are said to be everywhere in Cambodia but we didn't see it at all in Siem Reap. Vincent kept reminding me not to eat it. Well, at least we saw in Phnom Penh.
Dinner was at this restaurant recommended by a lady in Indochine Hotel (which we put plane). The Khmer Curry is nice - they add peanut into the curry. So its something between our regular curry sauce and satay peanut sauce. Yummy!
Then we adjourned for the day as we prepare ourselves for our last day in Cambodia! Stay tuned for more pictures!
