1st day of my PA(professional attachment).. i was LATE!!! n e damn company.. which is super kay gao.. took down e time.. which is like 8.35.. meaning im onli late for 5 min.. n HIGHLIGHTED it on the daily check-in-check-out sheet.. wat a bad start n wat a bad impression i've created for myself.. anw given my heck care attitude.. i din reallie gave a damn abt it..
den i got to learn more abt my job.. im suppose to do telemarketing.. call companies up at random.. either frm e co's database or from our own research.. talk to e finance ppl.. n persuade them to try e co's software.. there are certain peak periods to call.. so other than making calls during e peak period, i'll do data entry, research, email potential clients whom i've spoken to, cut newspaper for research, n email my superior e daily updates at e end of everyday.
wat i tink abt my job is tt.. my colleagues r not bad.. my job is sucky but i do learn alot.. however e company sucks!! wat they do is to exploit interns.. half of their staff r interns.. meaning they pay peanuts!! n we onli hav half an hr lunch break!! wat e hell!!! n most of e time we work like hell lor.. i was nv so hardworking man.. no time to skive cos i was given so much work to finish everyday!!! n i almost concuss everyday aft i reached home frm work.. n yes.. wif makeup still on!!! can u imagine e kind of life im leading?? den its e pay issue.. its stated tt our pay would b $750.. but according to another intern.. they pay lesser.. less than 700.. tis intern was tellin me they wil deduct our pay if we r late.. exceed e lunch time limit.. or go to e toilet too many times.. according to her.. there used to b 5 interns in e company.. all of them got less than 700.. n between them.. e pay varies.. n they couldn't figure out wat is e determinants of e pay diff.. n if they r not wrong, pay is deducted on public hols.. kaoz! shit them lor!!! i've nv seen a company wif such lousy employees benefits.. have to check-in n check-out.. even for lunch break n trips to e toilet!! super niao can!! wat else they wan?? we interns r alr so lowly-paid can!! n telemarketing is reallie dirty job can!! argh!!!!
after a week of suffering.. i made it a point to enjoy my long weekend.. thur nite i met up wif my bridge khakis at cine for dinner n our bridge session.. suppose to leave jus in time for our last bus.. however we were not v sure if we could still catch e last bus.. so we came up wif a backup plan.. n tt is.. if anyone missed e last bus.. she wld call up e rest n e rest wil alight immediately, meet up again, n find something else to do.. so in e end we went to KTV!!! yeah!! haha.. we sang til 4am.. den went to rus's hse for supper.. haha.. aft which we had our bridge session again!! we left her hse at ard 7.. n i reach home at abt 8!! cannot imagine i was so deprived tt i reallie made use of every sec despite e fact tt i woke up at 630 on thur morning!! omg.. if u tink tt's e end.. u r wrong!! immediately aft i reached home.. i set out to e cck cemetry to bai bai.. coz it my ah gong's 100 days death anniversary.. din get to slp until ard 1030am.. still not so bad if i get to slp e whole day.. but i woke up at 3pm!! which means i onli slp for 41/2 hrs!! coz im meeting jo at 4pm to shop!!! we went to bugis street.. n i bought so many things!! 5 tops, a pair of shoes, a necklace, a ring, n a pair of earrings!! i cut my fringe at chapter 2 as well!! my fringe is a bit jing bao now! heeheee.. n many crazy things happened when we were shopping!!!
e first one was.. i lost my uob mini debit!! me n jo ended up searching e shop that i've most likely dropped it.. but to no avail.. so i called uob to report e loss.. who noes.. e shop assistant told jo she saw my card n returned it to me!! omg im so lucky lor.. coz usualli tis kinda things.. once u lost it.. u lost it.. i nv believe in kind souls who wil return things.. suddenly i c light in e world again.. hhahaha.. den aft we came out of e shop.. another sales assistant of e same shop came aft us n told us my card is wif her colleague n asked us to collect frm her.. omg.. i reallie cannot believe my luck at tt moment.. there r actuallie so many kind ppl ard.. i feel super fortunate..
den at another shop.. a few teenagers shoplifted!! me n jo helped to look aft e shop when e lady when to catch those shoplifters!!youngsters nowadays.. haiz.. n tis gal is super incorrigible.. she's still giving attitude aft she was caught.. while e other gal.. according to jo.. her hands were trembling.. anw e lady was kind enuff not to report them to e police.. hope they can wake up their idea.. haiz..
todae.. i'll b gg ikea wif my bf to shop for his sofa.. yeah!! haven been to ikea for so long.. i used to love gg to ikea.. i wan hotdog!!! hahaha..
hopefully tmr i can eat my suki buffet.. had cravings for it for 2 weeks liaoz.. heeeee... weekend rocks weekdays sucks!!! hahaha...
